White balance adjustment is often used to make your images' colors to look neutral as possible
by changing the color temperature of the snapshot/recording to compensate for ambient lighting.
Since light conditions vary throughout the day, and depending on where you are (indoors or outdoors) or where the camera lens is pointed at, you will have to compensate by choosing a white balance mode.
